Bio

I was born and raised in West Texas for most of my life before moving to Northern Nevada with my family while in high school.  After graduating, I spent the next 9 years in the U.S. Navy working on radar, power conversion, computers, tactical & non-tactical networks, and various duties. I enjoyed my time serving but I am now attending Texas Tech University to achieve my Management of Information Systems degree.

Because of my Navy experience working on advanced electronics, a large portion of my college credits fall into the engineering category. Due to the insane amounts of money that would have to be spent to achieve a double-major in engineering and MIS, I chose to stick with MIS. I would like to work in a research and development type environment as a lot of my ideas (for example: recharging portable devices wirelessly) which were once called crazy are now being aggressively pursued and achieved in the research and development field.

As a result of my experience in the Navy, I have been exposed to many different cultures and am not reluctant to travel for my career. I am highly adaptable and strive to learn to become the best in what I do. This is what made me highly successful in the Navy and what I believe will make me successful in the civilian market.
