Volunteering at non-profits in my Lubbock, Texas community gave me an insight into their world and created within me the urge to get involved.  Local non-profits rarely have the budget to spend on IT related projects and often make-do with little to no IT support or consultation.  As an IT professional looking to give back, I began offering my services around town for little to nothing, whether it be a Web site, a network, IT support, or consultation.  I hope to use this blog as a way to answer different questions and have them publicly available for anyone to use at no cost.
